The work environment of
Searchengineposition is challenging, fast paced and
never boring. We work hard and we try to provide ample
opportunities for play. Here are a few examples:
2nd
Annual Stampede Pancake Breakfast
Our 2nd annual Calgary Stampede
Breakfast was held July 4th, 2003! We raised
money for the United Way, made lots of
friends, and had a GREAT TIME too! See you next
year...

Tree
Trimming 2002
During the last few days before
December vacation, the staff at SEP have gotten
together in the holiday spirit to decorate the office
and share best wishes with our friends and
clients! We held an informal tree trimming party
at break and a contest for the most festive workspace.

SEP's
Birthday Party Picnic
Held on June 2nd, 2002 at
Bertram Creek Park, this was also an early going away
party for Kim and Darren who are getting married this
summer and moving to Ontario. After some great
food, heartfelt speeches & gift presentation,
there was frisbee and volleyball to top off a
beautiful summer's day.

Rafting the Mighty Thompson
River
In June of 2001 we packed up
the whole team and headed for the Thompson River for a
wet and wild excursion with Kumsheen. 4 tremendous
hours later, we emerged at Lytton, BC, vowing that
this will become a SEP tradition.

Houseboat 40th Birthday Party
Our president and CEO, Gord
Hotchkiss, turned 40 this year and the team decided to
surprise him with an evening houseboat cruise on
beautiful Okanagan Lake. Here's a few pictures, just
in case you were wondering why we live where we do.

The Plastic Knife Construction
Contest
After a staff function, we had
a box of 1000 plastic knives left over. Most companies
would tuck it away in a corner of the storage room or
throw it out. Not us! We turned it into our regular
Friday afternoon challenge. We divided into teams,
split up the knives and gave everyone 30 minutes and a
roll of masking tape to see what they could come up
with.
Kid's Painting Party
Last year we moved into new
offices and noticed that some of our walls were a
little bare. Rather than get prints from some unknown
artist, we decided to tap the artistic potential of
some artists a little closer to home...our kids.
Canvasses, brushes, paint and popsicles were
distributed and an hour later we had a new gallery of
masterpieces.
