AskJeeves UK dumps Espotting

One of Europe’s best known pay for performance advertisers, Espotting, was dealt a blow when AskJeeves UK dumped them in favor of Google AdWords for its sponsored listings.

While AskJeeves in America has been using Google AdWords for some time now, the UK version has been using the UK’s premiere PPC provider – Espotting.  This doesn’t bode well for Espotting who also lost their Altavista UK and Alltheweb traffic when Overture purchased the two earlier this year.

AskJeeves in the UK is that areas 11th largest web property, giving Google’s AdWords an effective reach of 63% of the population, when you consider their other UK partnerships.
