Secondary Engines and Directories
Although
there are a handful of search portals that provide the
vast majority of traffic, there are literally
thousands of search engines and directories on the
web, many of them focused on specific regions or
industries. While the potential traffic doesn't
warrant ongoing submission programs for these search
sites, it is important that your site is included in
them.
As part
of our search engine optimization program, we search out relevant search
directories and engines for your site. We then submit
your site to these search sources, as well as foreign
search engines and directories and the secondary
search engines. Not only will these submissions
provide traffic in their own right, they can also
count as relevant links back to your site, boosting
your link popularity.
By the
way, many of these search engines require an e-mail
address from the submitting site. They then sell these
e-mails to bulk e-mail marketers, providing an
additional source of revenue. Many submission services
don't make you aware of this fact, leading you to
believe it's okay to use your existing e-mail address.
We create a special Hotmail e-mail account for the
submission, then delete the account afterwards, saving
you from a flood of unwanted junk e-mail.
