The BC Law firm of Pushor
Mitchell believed 5 years ago that the web had a
significant role to play both in it's marketing
and also in servicing it's existing customer
base. We did the initial design for the website
and the firm become one of our very first search
engine marketing clients.
While the firm is
regionally based, it has found that because of
the breadth of the practice areas it works in,
it was getting enquiries from clients in other
regions throughout BC. In consultation with
Searchengineposition, it was determined that
search engine marketing would offer a cost
effective vehicle to encourage this new
business.
"If
anyone doubts the value of a website and search
engines as a marketing vehicle, let me site one
example. A client (in another market) found us
through a search and came to our website. They
were unhappy with the legal service they were
receiving in their own town. Based upon what
they read on our site and a subsequent phone
call, they decided to retain us to represent
them in a personal injury case. Yesterday, we
settled the case. Our fees were $54,000. This
one case has repaid our total investment in our
website over the past 5 years many times over.
And that's just one example off the top of my
head. "
