Let the Submissions Begin

Now, we begin submitting to the major search engines. Rather than use one of the automated services, we hand submit to all the major engines, following up to make sure the submission was successful and that your pages were indexed by the spider. We continue to submit until all the major engines have indexed your key pages. Why do we spend so much time on a handful of search engines and directories? Because these are the sources that will account for over 90% of your search traffic. With a number that high, we prefer not to leave anything to chance.

We also do a onetime submission to over 1500 worldwide directories and search engines. While the importance of these engines is far less than the big players, they can account for a significant portion of traffic and shouldn't be overlooked. They can also produce traffic from foreign markets and industry or topic specific search sites.
